| Jump philosophy: | Respect the sport. It is awesome, beautiful, fun...but when you're out there with a rig, two parachutes, and gravity you are NOT the one with the trump card. |
| Memorable skydive: | Wow - there are so many! Probably the first really memorable one was pre-100 jumps when I'd never done a successful 4-way and 3 really experienced jumpers spent an hour dirt-diving with me...creepers, mockups, everything. As we walked to the plane, I asked one of them if he thought we might turn at least 4 points so I could get my Falcon award. He gave me a really funny look, gave me a lecture on always walking to the plane with confidence and I landed from that skydive with 13 points! And a distinct memory of what a "slot" looked like because they were IN theirs at one point and mine was sitting there waiting for me to quit backsliding and fly back into the formation! And the most recent "most memorable" would have to be...landing from the 357-way in Thailand really believing we just might have built that one and wondering where in the heck we were so I could log it! |
